Fox’s Glazer: Moss trade to Vikings continues

Fox Sports Senior NFL Writer Jay Glazer is reporting that talks are under way to bring Randy Moss back to the Vikings.  You can read that story here.

His last Tweet just before 10 p.m. says that the sides might continue talks in the morning. Glazer had tweeted about 9 p.m. that talks “hit some snags.” Glazer also reports that the deal was being talked about before Monday night’s Patriots-Dolphins game.

Moss has just nine catches for 139 yards this season with the New England Patriots. He went without a catch in the win over Miami.

No word if its for “straight cash” or what.

I speculated here a few posts ago that this scenario could happen. I surely didn’t expect it to be so soon.

As for Moss’ former number? Logan Payne, the former Gophers wide receiver, wears No. 84 on the practice squad.

Moss highlights

Moss was an instant NFL hit during his rookie season with the Vikings. He averaged 19 yards per catch in 1998, the best average he’s posted throughout his career.
